I am assuming that this VIRUS FOUND message is derived between the
Post and Boot phase of starting your computer, (just before Windows
actually starts). If so, your BIOS has found a virus or something in your
boot sector is triggering this message.
You can try going to a DOS prompt or Command Prompt, in Windows95/98
this is done by pressing F8 just as the "Starting Win95..." message appears,
(the same with Windows98). Choose the Command Prompt option.
When the system has booted to a 'C' prompt, use FDISK to try to remove
the VIRUS, by typing this: FDISK /mbr
This may or may not clean out the virus. I do suggest you download the upgrade
for you anti-virus software as soon as possible to clean your system. The message
you received that the server is busy, means exactly that... that either a great
many people are logged on to it or the server has been locked to do another
task, such as upgrading the server. Just keep trying to get into the server
for the upgrade.
If this still fails, try downloading McAfee or AVP anti-virus programs. They will
work as demos long enough to clean out your virus.
