It's in the "Add" files dialog box. For example, with WinZip open, click
the "New" toolbar button, typethe name of a Zip file to create, but first
have a blank, formatted floppy in your drive and prefix "a:\" in front of
the filename you're going to use. Then when you get the Add files dialog
(the next window that will appear) there'll be a drop-down list at the
bottom of the dialog which will allow you to specify the desired spanning
method.
