i inadvertently installed autocad 2002 on a pc with xp home as os and have
now discovered that it is not compatible with xp home but only with xp
professional.
after installation, when i clicked the icon on the desktop to start the
program i got the following message:

 the application or ddl c:\Programs\commonfiles\autodeskshared\AcGe15.dll
is not a valid Windows image. Verify with the installation disk (this is a
literal translation of the message i get in italian)

i then tried to uninstall from the control panel, but in the control panel
autocad does not appear: there is however a very large empty space between
"alcatel" and "avg" (so much so i thought all the other programs below
alcatel had somehow disappeared).
so uninstall isn't possible from the control panel and there doesn't seem to
be an uninstall option next to the autocad that appears as new application
in the list of programs opened from the start button.

does anyone know what i can do to uninstall what is now on my computer
occupying quite alot of hard disk space(obviously not wanting to delete the
program folder only) or possibly whether there is a way to get 2002 to work
on xp home?
thanks in advance for any solutions or suggestions,
laurence grignolo
