Upon boot-up, Ad-aware starts to launch but instead puts a box on the screen that says...
Your definitions are 15 days old. Do you want to check for new updates?
And that's all. It does not give me any yes or ok to click on. Again, the red x to close a window is grayed out.
So, I re-booted. The little box came on the screen again. saying the same thing. This time, I used ctl/alt/dlt to bring up taks manager. I clicked End Task & that got the little box off the screen.
Any help figuring out what is causing these boxes to come up without a yes/ok button to click on, is most appreciated.
Joyonya,
Bonnie Rowley
