There are, I think, two basic options for including pictures in HTML-
formatted email. (Leaving aside, for the moment, the question of whether
HTML email is a good thing or not....)
1. Include a full URL as the image source/name. The image bits are not
really included in the email -- the recipient's email client fetches them
from a server via HTTP as part of rendering the HTML message.
2. Include each image as a separate MIME section within the message -- I'm
not sure what the img= source path should look like in that case. Note that
this will make for larger sent messages, possibly by quite a lot.
