Hi People:

My problem is minor but my frustration is major!

Until last week when I shut down IE5 [version 5.00.2919.6307] an alert box
appeared asking if I wished to close my connection to the Internet. I have
been using both IE5 and Win 98SE with no problem for months.

The alert has ceased and I cannot find out how to reactivate it. I think
that I have done everything except reinstall IE5.

Just before the problem arose, my server was having hardware problems that
were causing odd reactions on user computer. They did not issue an
immediate alert and I wrongly presumed that my dial-up connection was at
fault. I deleted it and created a new one which works fine.

Would someone please point me to the required setting for the alert?

Thanks in advance,

Peter Darrach
