Hello:

Slow Laptop led me to the NOSPIN Downloads site & I
thought the freeware Memory Monitor would tell me
something about what's going on with my 32MB of RAM.

Lo and Behold, once I installed & ran it, I found that
just starting my laptop seems to take up almost all of my
memory. Holy Cow! Is this normal?

I have also installed Memory Monitor on to my DeskTop
with very similar results.

I have a bunch of stuff on my desktops but most of it is
just short-cut icons. (Which I'm led to believe don't
take up much space.)

Does 95% RAM in use indicate that I may be doing
something wrong? Or is this normal? Could it be that I
have something running in the background?

Any & all help/suggestions appreciated.

TIA

Bob
