Hi,

How do you do the conversion? I used to use Acrobat quite some time ago, 
and in that version, Acrobat created a virtual printer that you would 
print to from any application. This would then create the pdf from the 
print job.

If it is still the same, then you should simply be able to setup the 
print properties in the application you are using before "printing". Set 
the paper size to legal (8x14) before pressing the print button.
