Gary,

What size of attachment are you sending?  Some larger attachments need to be
broken into smaller parts or the server just drops the attachment.  You can
send larger messages in multiple parts under the Account information.  Go to
"Tools"=>"Accounts", highlight the account you are sending the message from,
click on the "Properties" button, click the "Advanced" tab, in the middle of
the page is under "Sending" heading is located "Break apart messages larger
then", check this and set how large the attachments will be before they are
broken apart.
