You propably copied them to wrong folder. To import select
1) File -> Import -> Messages -> MS Outlook Express 5 -> press Next button
2) Select Import mail from an OE5 store folder -> press OK
3) Press Browse and find your old mail folder -> press OK -> press Next
4) select folders to import and press OK . Press Finish
OE can display message that messages import are not finished but in my
case , tested twice, they are.
But in you description i think that OE attempt to copy to location no longer
exists.
Select fom menu Tools -> Options -> Maintenance.
Press Store Folder button. Now press Change and select directoy for
your mail folders. You can select directory where old mailfolders are.
As you use Win2k check permissions all folders what you use. It is possible
that
you can't import mails because you dont have permissions to read files in
sourec
directory.
I tested both coping and importing in another win2k computer. It works but
source
was full permission to everyone. Import was sucsesfull loged in as user in
Users group.
