Mail rules are processed in the order they appear in the list.
There are buttons for moving them up or down in the list.

Hi Trusty Helpers,
I have several 'mail rules' and was wondering in what order are they executed. I have one that filters out anything that has the
work 'free' someplace in the subject line and send themto a folder that I called
SPAM . I now notice that some of these I may want to keep. Can I create another rule where I could filter the ones I want to keep
to a folder called SAVE and then have the others continue and be filtered out when they reach this other rule? Or, is there a way
you can put these filters in an order for them to follow?
