A popup box?  Have you ever tried WordPerfect?  You can Drag & Drop
formattings you don't want anymore, or you can simply position your cursor
exactly BETWEEN 2 formattings to add a new one... a popup box will NOT allow
me to do such a thing since it only DISPLAYS codes, it won't allow me to
edit these formattings other than with the pulldown menus and that's what
annoys me.

Thanks anyways, I guess I'll stick to WP for a while... ;-)
