While there is a small grain of truth in this, I'm not so sure that it
should be classified as is a "major security issue".  Is there ANY
networking product on the market that doesn't have some sort of "security
issue"?  I doubt it.

I believe the biggest reason most ISPs don't want to install the FP
extensions is because they will only work on an NT box.  I think that most
ISPs do not want invest the time, money, and hassle of learning,
installing and integrating a "foreign" server into their Unix system.
