Reinstall the "removed" HP printer and then, after a reboot, run the
"uninstall" routine. This time, however, opt to keep that common file.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Error messages
My sister removed a HP printer to install a new one, in doing so she was
given the option of removing an unused common file. She said o.k., now
on boot up she receives the following:
1: The HPI_common.dll file is linked to missing export MFC42.dll:6569
Then, 2: The createcd.exe file is linked to the missing export
MFC42.dll:6467
How can this be repaired and what is the meaning of the digits after the
extension?
Thanks for your help,
Hal Seabolt
