George, did you make a path to HIMEM.SYS in the config.sys on your floppy
i.e. DEVICE=A:\HIMEM.SYS ?

I am re-visiting this problem that I am having making a startup disk
for Win95. I am getting the error message..HIMEM.SYS is missing (make
sure that the file is in your Windows directory) I made a start up
disk and included this file HIMEM.SYS on this disk..the problem
persists..how do I get this file into the Windows Directory.
