Try installing again.
When given the opportunity, delete the partition on which Windows is
installed. Install to that partition.
If you have more than one partition it's likely to be the larger one.

I am having a problem, first off hello everyone im new to the site, and
im hoping that you all can help me or give me some advice on how to
proceed with this problem im having.well anyways i have a toshiba
satellite-l355-s7837 which shortly after running updates on windows xp
pro os sys.a blue screen urgent error message and my laptop would
restart until it reaches the xp logo then it would flash the blue screen
again and again restart over and over again.at one point ive run pc
doctor,caldera,i neven tried a fresh install and STILL nothing!then low
an behold in bold print on a black i read one lone word, VIRUS! CAN
ANYONE HELP ME WITH PROBLEM?
