Greetings:
I have a computer that sometimes freezes at startup. This is recent, but is becoming more frequent. It appears to boot normally, but when bootup is complete the mouse will not activate any programs/applications. The mouse moves but clicking on an icon gets nothing. Control/alt/delete does nothing either. All I can do is shut down using the power switch. Upon reboot scandisk runs and sometimes even then the computer will not reboot properly, and I have to shut down and start over again. Friday it took three tires to get a normal bootup to where things seemed to work properly. The computer has 128 MB RAM, 350 MHZ PII processor, and runs Win98SE. I hope someone has a fix. Thanks.
