Hello!
Since there are no "uninstaller" options in Win 3.11, you might as well go
ahead and just install Word. Any older bits and pieces (such as in win.ini)
will probably be overwritten during the installation process.
To start the process, stick the floppy disk (or CD-ROM) in the appropriate
drive, and click on File/Run in Program Manager. In the appropriate box type
the drive letter of the drive the disk is in, colon, setup (like: a:setup).
Some DOS programs use install instead of setup.
Good luck!

Subject: [PCSOFT] Reinstalling Word 6 (fwd)
My apologies for repeating the following (from May 1); no-one was able,
at the time of the initial posting, to clarify. It's my hope someone
now on the list can take the time. ---ed

Dare I simply install Word6 on top of what shards of an earlier
installation may remain? It's been so long I'm remarkably unaware
of procedural propriety; I do the "setup.exe" from somewhere in Windows
3.11, yes?
I'll greatly appreciate any guidance! ---ed
