Concerning your Zonealarm  you will find on a regular basis attempts of
this sort, its not uncommon for a user to scan a whole range of ips looking
for one vulnerable user it happens to me on a daily basis for a variety of
ports, some common some not..  The only real thing you can do is if
zonealarm logs is report the attempt to the ISP in question and hope they
have a policy on scanning/probing

If attempts like this bother you, or get in your way of normal interrnet
time... all you have to do is setup zonealarm for your most common
applications   Check the  PASS LOCK (or whatever its referred to) for each
application and LOCK the rest.... when the lock is set  you wont see those
other attempts nor will you get any notification (popup box) that it is
happening
