While trying to (re)install win95 & 98, the machine would lock up just
as it started to copy the files. I finally figured out the problem, I
turned off  the virus protection in bios, after 3 hours of
frustration.  But still don't know why it made a difference when the
bios would normally just ask.  Any thoughts?
