Does this happen when you use the keyboard to move the cursor?
You can use the keyboard to do this if you install Windows Accessibility tools.
If this happens when you use your keyboard then check your mouse settings
and reinstall or update the the driver. If this only happens when you user
your mouse to move the cursor around then it sounds like you need to clean
the rollers and ball on your mouse which is a normal maintenance task.
This also means that you have a hardware problem and should move this
thread over to PCBUILD if you have any questions on how to go about
cleaning your mouse or installing the driver.

Lately my cursor has become erratic. Instead of moving
