My Compaq Presario 2120 'Standby Mode' option disappeared! About a month ago, my PC started slacking off going into standby mode. One day, a dialog window appeared stating that "Your PC has been experienced 'standby mode' difficulties. Would you like to cancel the standby mode feature?" Like a yoyo, I answered yes. Now I'm ready to use it again and noticed that the option has completely disappeared from my Start|Shutdown|Shutdown Windows screen. I tried to get it back using pmtshoot.exe... no luck. pmtshoot.exe needs that option to be present. Any advice?
