I write:**When I had this problem (twice) with Earthlink, I had to change
Access numbers and
that changed everthing back to normal. It seems that Earthlink re-routes
POIs sometimes
and does not let their users know and that changes where your access point
and dial in number
does not work. I would suggest changeing your access phone number if one is
available to see
if that does not correct the problem. I spent several hours on the phone
with Earthlink to solve
the same problem and ended up changeing the dial in access phone number.

I write:**Did you delete your connection to Earthlink and then add a new
connection to
Earthlink in Dial Up Networking? Windows ME sometimes breaks this and has
to be
redone.
