One quick fix for many Windows98 installations is the VXD Fix that can
be found on our web site:

This is a commonly reported issue with Windows98, generated because
of a bug in Windows.   Numerous people have reported this small bug
fix file has solved all problems with Fatal Exceptions and the infamous
Blue Screen of Death in WIndows98.  Also note that there is a version
of this fix for Windows95, though it is far less an issue...
