Microsoft provided for some older titles to be loaded on to server folders
to facilitate lan client management. You seem to have such a title. It's
now my understanding that you have to possess a specific license with MS
titles to use network folders for installing.

Installation Problem Solved?
In a previous note I stated that in a re-installation of a text editing
program, it said many, but not all, files could not be read from the
installation disk. I tried several things but the one that worked was: I
copied the whole disk to a folder on my hard drive. I clicked on "install"
and the whole installation ran fine. Why?
