It is important to keep in mind that there is a point at which increasing
the virtual memory is of no help, even putting performance aside. The OS
needs to keep some minimum amount of a program in physical RAM regardless.
At some point, with only 64M of RAM, even if you have say 512M of virtual
memory, the system will be "out of memory".
