Just thot I'd follow up with the results of my latest battle of the bug.  After doing all the "usual things" someone suggested one more program I hadn't tried..Ad-Aware.  I downloaded Ad-Aware 6 from Lavasoft, installed, updated & ran it.  It found the infected
pieces & let me destroy them.   So far, so good.
Thanks listers for the suggestions.  This is THE GREATEST site for help.
