How do you know Zone Alarm is causing this problem?
Sounds like a conflict with ZA and another program (not necessarily your
browser). All my friends have WinXP and Zone Alarm (I turned many of them
on to ZA) and they have no problems like yours.
If you can afford it and don't have a router, get one (like a LinkSys). I
got mine for $30.00 after rebates. Couple a router with the built-in XP
firewall protection and you will be better off than with ZA alone.
