Hi Tom,
To run XP or NT's version of scan disk, it is easiest to open a command
prompt and type, chkdsk C: /F It will ask you if you want to dismount the
volume, I always say no for my C: drive, then it will ask if you want to run
at the next boot. Say yes and then you are good to go. Since this is what
Norton's Disk Dr. does anyway, I just skip norton and now just run A/V.
You can type chkdsk /? at the prompt to see what other choices you have.

Just checking to see if anyone has had problems using Norton Utilities and
Clean Sweep that come with Norton System Works 2002 with Windows XP Pro. I
have Norton Anti-Virus 2003 installed. Win XP comes with roll-back software
similar, I think, to the Roxio Go-Back program so don't plan to install
those. Have heard that Win XP does a good job maintaining the system and add
on programs are not needed. However I can not find ScanDisk, or something
similar, on Win XP. All comments welcome.

Thanks,

Tom
