Hi Mark,

I did as you suggested and was able to d/l the Virtual from the XP Mode. And my iPhoto Plus 4 is d/l on the Virtual XP.

It will take some getting used to switching back and forth.

Thank you

tannis

The first thing to try is to bring up the properties box on the shortcut you launch the program from by mouse right click.. selecting it, and then left click to bring up the context menu, and choose Properties. Then click on the compatibility tab and put a check in Run this program in compatibility mode for, and select XP then push apply. Try and launch the program.

I suggest you go here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/windows-xp-mode and download and install MS XP MODE. This is free to Windows 7 Pro and Ultimate users and will allow you to run 32 bit XP virtually within Windows 7 PRO 64 bit where you can install your 32 bit app. It was offered by Microsoft to help business who had to run proprietary software. This allowed them to run the apps they had always run within a more secure OS. Good luck.

I have since loaded the same software on all of my Dell computers, total number of 7, since then. I have always been able to use the software on my NON APPLE computers. I have NEVER owned an APPLE computer. It is only since I got Windows 7 PRO with a 64 bit rather then the 32 bit that I cannot use the software anymore.
