Dick,

You may want to check out Macmillan Publishing's website at:

http://www.mcp.com

and sign up on their Personal Bookshelf. They have several titles on
JavaScript for online viewing. All of it is free.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Java vs. Java Script

I bought a thick book on Java. Near the end of the first chapter, to my
surprise, I learned that there's Java which is compiled into bytecodes, and
Java Script which is sent as a form of executable text. I have examples of
both in HTML source files which I want to understand, but the book deals
only with the compiled version. Where can I find a writeup of the Java
Script language?
