I thought I was deleting the current CONTENT of the Run history list (MRU List), but instead it DEACTIVATED the keeping of the history, so that now, on each boot, the history is emptied. I depend on the program names in that list. Does anyone know how to get it activated again? My registry shows:

My values look like this:

(Default) REG_SZ (value not set)
  a REG_SZ cmd hostname\1
  b REG_SZ cmd\1
  c REG_SZ regedit\1
  MRUList REG_SZ cba

I'm guessing your key should look similar. Make sure you back up before
you make any changes

Marc
