Right click on a blank area of your desktop. From the popup window, Display
Properties, select the "Screen Saver" option. Left click the Screen Saver
drop-down button, and select - none; however, remember the name of the
present Screen Saver for later reactivation. After selecting none, left
click "OK."

The same procedure, except selecting the name of Screen Saver instead of
none, will reactivate the screen saver of your choice.
