We recently purchased a new computer and I'm
unable to surf to certain sites. I've searched
through a bunch of forums trying to find the
solution.

Here are the basic specs of our new computer: XP
Pro 2002 (SP2), IE 6.0, 128-bit Cipher Strength,
Norton Anti-Virus (Auto-Protect), Webroot Window
Washer. (All Windows Updates are current.)

My old computer can view the sites that I can't
on the new one, so it's not our ISP or the
websites' servers.

So, my conclusion is that it
must be something in the internet options. I've
tried disabling all of the following: XP
firewall, NAV & Window Washer and I still can't
go to them. I've even tried to add them to the
list of trusted sites.

Example websites are:
http://www.nsa.naples.navy.mil/
http://www.lamadd.navy.mil/
http://www.housing.navy.mil/
http://www.lamadd.navy.mil/inbound.htm
http://www.lifelines.navy.mil/
http://www.lamadd.navy.mil/welcome/default1.htm
http://www-p.afsv.af.mil/default.htm
http://www.mwr.navy.mil/
http://www.dod.mil/mapsite/
http://www.staynavy.navy.mil/
http://www.ncts.navy.mil/nol/

Anyways, they're mostly all military websites
that I am able to go to on my old computer. I
don't want to have to plug in my old computer
everytime I want to visit the above websites, so
if you have time to help me that would be great.

Thanks,
Lori
