The cost for XP will be between $80 & $100 depending upon the source and if
it is an upgrade version or a full install version. However, the value is
not in running any particular software, but in how well (stability) it runs
all software. If you buy a full XP rather than an upgrade version, you can
do a "clean" install on your computer which is the best way. I've done it
both ways without any problems.

There is a utility you can dowload from MS and verify that your system is
compatible for an upgrade. Also, you really should have at least 512 MB of
RAM to satisfactorily run XP even though XP will run with less.

Although ME is considered by many to be a poor OS, if it works well for you,
it may not be worth any added cost(s) for you to upgrade, if needed,
computer hardware to run XP.

Hope this helps.

How much would it cost me to upgrade to XP??? And how??!! (This piece of
software is only worth 'so much' to me. :-) Becky
