Hi Phil,
I could give you a whole list of icon editors, but one of the best free
ones is IcoFX.
http://icofx.ro/
Explore it, learn how to use it and I think you'll be delighted with the
program's capabilities.
Note : I'm not sure if IcoFX handles icons created in Paint Shop Pro
,since that has its own format.
Two ways to handle that : Save the icon in Paint Shop in .png format.
Or save directly to .ICO format.(Windows standard)
Need plugin for that >

or http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/#icoformat
There are probably direct converters as well.Could not find one at this
time tho.

Hello all,
I would like to create a new icon for a desktop shortcut folder. I
have created the image I wish to use in Paint Shop Pro but I don't
know how to convert it to a icon file so I can select it when I go to
the folders properties and select "change icon". Is this possible with
xp home (SP2)? If not, is there freeware available to convert it?
Thanks,
-Phil-
