Greetings,

I recently upgraded to Win98 and have had no problems with it until
recently.  Recently, when I shutdown, Windows goes through its ususal
procedures but at one point it seems to pause, it then shows a warning
dialog box indicating that RTFIXMON is not responding.  I am asked to hit
the wait button, etc.

After several seconds, whether it hit the wait button or not, shutdown
procedes without further incident.

I don't remember what I loaded/installed/did before this started happening.
 I have see the same problem in other PCs running Windows 95.

Can any one enlighten me as to what RTFIXMON is, what it does and who to
fix this.
