Hello Al,

To get into Windows 98 / ME safe mode, as the computer is booting you press
and hold your "F8 key" on the top of your keyboard or press and hold the
left or right "Ctrl" key. If done properly you should get into the "Windows
98 / ME Startup Menu". In this menu choose option 3 by pressing the 3 key
and press enter.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Safe Mode for WinME ?

For those in the know, what's the right way to get to 'safe mode' using
WinME?

Boot disk offers '..with CD-ROM support, ...without CD-ROM support, minimal
boot...'
Start / Shutdown offers 'Shut down, Restart, Stand by'.
? TIA

Al Thompson
