I have a CyberPower UPS connected to a USB port. I am running Windows XP.

The monitoring software, PowerPanel, looses communication with the UPS after odd intervals of time
(used to be about an hour, now it's after about 3 hours).

Is there a way to determine what processes are occurring in the background and when? I am
wondering if something is interfering with the USB port or PowerPanel. I have made sure there are
no tasks scheduled (Task Scheduler) and that Windows will not shut off the USB port to save power.

Thanks,

Kevin
