Hi Chet,
I noticed that there has been no followup to your question.
There is absolutely no reason you would have to reformat
or continue to remove vsmon.exe.
OK,I'm goimg to be very blunt here:We're very happy to help you,
but you can help yourself by being a bit more descriptive.
Things like "I tried one or two of the ones I could understand to no
avail" don't cut it.
Nor did you answer this question:"When you ran Revo Uninstaller did you
run the deepscan (Advanced) mode?"
Tell us which ones you tried, what the problem was or exactly
what part you don't understand.
I advised to use Revo uninstaller -you can't get much better.
It will take care of the uninstall as well as registry entries and even
leftover pieces.
If you can navigate to a destination on your harddrive - Killbox WILL
get rid of vsmon.exe
I described everything in my previous posts .

Just tell me which one you have trouble with and we'll solve it.
My first choice is Revo and use Advanced mode -when finished reboot.
Killbox is good too,but only removes the offending file, not other
leftovers.(registry etc)- (unless known and selected)

I want to thank all of you for the suggestions re deleting vsmon.exe. I
tried one or two of the ones I could understand to no avail..Most were
over my head as I'm not that computer savvy. My choices seem to be
limited to format the hd, continue to remove each time with task
manager, find a friend who understands what was suggested here or my
favorite..FIND A PROGRAM that guarantees to remove it which I will be
happy to pay for; so the follow up question is : does anyone know of
such a program that can do that?
Thanks, Chet
