Your post is not clear about how you tried to "un-zip" the file.
So, having failed that, I am assuming you have no un-zipping
program or need instructions on the program(?) you have...
(A side thought... You may have a "bad download"...)

If you double-click on the zip file and "next to nothing" happens,
(no program starts and/or there are no error messages),
it is fairly certain you have no program to "work with" zip files.
If you have no un-zipping program, proceed with the following:

Go to http://www.WinZip.com and get the self extracting, evaluation version
of WinZip and install it. (Do not get it in ZIPPED format, it must be an EXE file.)
Note: Installing this will change settings and/or disable any un-zipping
program you "may" have on your computer now.
(Be sure you want to do that.)
Use WinZip to extract the zip file you downloaded to a folder of your choice.

The instructions (from your camera site) might have been confusing
because they were trying to say do not "look into" the zip file and try
to execute the setup file from "inside the zip".
All files must be extracted and reside on the hard drive as individual
files before setup can be run.

If this was the problem, and you need more help with running WinZip,
and/or any other Un-Zipping program you may already have,
please feel free to write back to the list for further instructions.
(I use only WinZip.) Rick Glazier
