Can someone please tell me how to format a new 32mb USB key drive,
installed as drive:h on a Compaq Presario 5827 running Win98 SE? Properties
in My Computer shows ``all space is used'' -- ``used space 0 bytes free
space 0 bytes''.
When I try to save anything to the h:drive, a message says it's not
formatted. When I try to format, the screen goes black and I get messages
from my Norton auto-protect that ``the application c:\windows\explore.exe is
attempting to write to the boot record of drive:h. What would you like to
do...stop...continue..exclude''. Whichever I choose, the format dialogue box
greys out.'' Help, help, help please. (Don Hoyt)
