I have a Packard Bell 640 and have lost the option in Windows Explorer, to
right click on an icon file and be able to see what the icon file looks
like. It also happens when I want to change the icon for a program.
When I go to View, Options, File Types, I have no listing for .ico file type.
I have tried to make a new file type and I'm not sure how to do this, maybe
this is what I need to do in order to be able to view them?? When I have
tried, I put:
Description of type: icon file
Associated extension: .ico
X in the box for enable quick view.....I click OK:
THEN a box comes up that says:
The extension ".ico" is already in use by file type "icofile". Choose
another
   extension.
BUT I can't find any file type listed as icofile.
Anyone able to help me out here.....thanks.

BTW.....instead of the picture of the icon file in Windows Explorer, they
all look like the demo.ico in windows folder if you have that file.
