No way around it, 95/98/ME all have that hit cancel/Escape and you're in..
Only way to have a logon that works is to upgrade to 2000/XP/NT.    Perhaps
try the BIOS and see if there's a security setting for a password before the
OS starts.  I'm sure there's some 3rd party security programs out there to
help, but have never used them.
