Hi guys, just wanna ask if there are any available options for my concern.
We do have an internet connection here in our school, but currently, it is
limited only to people with administrative positions. My concern is, I have
a class wherein I need to let my students be able to send me an email of
their work as attachment (completion time is quite long). So as my first
statement prevails, we only have local area network connection but don't
have any internet access. Are there any workaround for this? What I'm
doing now is I placed a local PC server in our floor, connect it to the
network and let them place their files as soon as they are finished. But my
problem is the authenticity of their work through time stamp because what I
could only check is the Date and Time on the file when it was created or
modified, not the date and time of their submission. So to summarize, can I
set up a small "email server"? I don't know what software to install and
what to configure if I will let them use MS-Outlook. By the way, we are
using Windows XP here. Thanks!!
