I will second John's comment. Just a few days ago, I had Norton Speed Disk
lock up and scramble my bookmarks in Firefox. At least that is the only
damage that I have so far uncovered. Don't take this to mean that Norton SD
is particularly unsafe - it could happen with any defrag software.
