I agree with the suggested solutions (below) to the problem. The most
sensible solution though is to use Norton's "Uninstal Program" entry when
you click NAV from Start/Programs/Norton Antivirus. The advantage of using
the Norton's uninstaller that comes with the NAV is that it removes
everything (NAV files), every links that NAV made during installation and
most of all, cleans up Registry entries as well as, Start up entries.

Removing NAV manually could really drive you bonkers! The last time I
visited Norton site for NAV removal, their instruction explained details
of/on every file, every location, directories, registry entries, start up
entry, etc. You need to make a hard copy of the site's instruction and a
marker (hi-liter) to use, as you struggle through the instruction. (Naah,
that's too much trouble for me!)

Therefore, to avoid the agony of going hunting NAV file by file, use the
uninstaller found in your NAV folder. It will make your life a lot easier
and you won't end up with a handful of hair! (Well, I don't know if you
have the uninstaller on your NAV folder or not. If you don't have it...
then, you're SOL and you have no choice but do what Orf Bartrop recommends.)
Good luck!

Emie DelRosario
