I tried wingate some time ago, but had poor results. Others have reported
good results, so mine may be a special case. I was running NT 4 at the time,
and perhaps wingate runs better under Win95/98. Now I have no problems doing
modem sharing by using that feature that is built-in to Windows 2000. I
believe that Windows 98 has the same capability. If that is the OS that you
are using, then check it out. Only the server has to be the newer OS,
clients can be Windows 95.
