Try going into Safe Mode-F-8 on restart or booting up.  Try changing the
settings in Safe Mode.  If this doesn't hold or work remove the Display
Adaptor and Monitor entries in Device Manager by:  In Safe Mode, Right
Click MyComputer / Properties / Device Manger / click "+" across from
Display Adaptor, select the display adaptor, click remove.  Do Same for
ALL entries if more than one, then go to Monitor and remove ALL monitor
entries.  Reboot.  Win will find and install them back. Note:  any
removal of items in Device Manager should be always done in Safe Mode.
