Joanne,

Many database programs use external (separate) index (housekeeping) files.
I have seen some database programs that generate 6 or more data files for
each "database".  Make sure you copy ALL the files with the same beginning
name.  For example MYFILE.MDB and MYFILE.IDX and/or MYFILE.ID1, etc.
